AODB interface

The AODB will be used to retrieve actual flight information. Every time a change is made in the status of a flight, an ASCII-string (or XML-file) is sent from the AODB to the AviaVox System in a TCP/IP session over the local area network, mostly an Ethernet IEEE 802.3 (10/100 Mbps)

The ASCII-string should only provide essential flight information on which the AviaVox-System, based on the set rules- needs to react on. AviaVox has a default ASCII-string defined with the required fields of information. This ASCII-string must be generated by the AODB and therefore be made available by the manufacturer of the AODB. AviaVox can assist the manufacturer of the AODB in getting the format of the ASCII-string right.
