AviaVox-Server
There are very few environments - as is the case with Airports - where data continuously change; new destinations and/or Airlines are added to the customer base, buildings are renovated and new terminals are being built. All bring about new gate numbers, names and meeting points.
The central database server is based in the Netherlands, where all the speech fragments- so-called phonemes- of all the languages are stored and maintained. When new content is added to the AviaVox-Server, or content is updated, all the clients can -on a real-time basis- make use of this.
If an Airport or airline wants to secure the operation of an automated artificial voice system, it is very important that the phoneme database is carefully maintained. With an AviaVox system, the voice base is automatically and real-time maintained, without any interference of a human being. This service is provided as an annual subscription charge to the customer.
